Billy N., a past AAWS General Service trustee, hosts both these meetings from Atlanta, as follows:
Mondays – 1 or 2 guest speakers, who in the past have included Albin Z. GV Editor; Greg T., GSO General Manager; Michelle Mirza, non-alcoholic GSO Archivist; Gail L., past Akron A.A. Archivist and a founder of the National A.A. Archives Workshop;, Newton, P., current trustee-at-large, U.S; and Carol B. current General Service trustee for GV. This Monday, May 18, it will be Ivan Lemelle, past Class A trustee. and a Senior U. S. District Court Judge in Louisiana. The speaker talks for about 20 minutes or so and then takes questions via the chat feature. The meeting usually lasts about an hour.
Thursdays – This is a Traditions/Concepts Workshop. One speaker talks for 15 minutes on a tradition, and the other one talks for 15 minutes on a concept. This Thursday, May 21 is on Tradition 9 and Concept 9 (Leadership in A.A.). I will be speaking on Concept 9, so Billly is definitely scraping the bottom of the barrel. Questions are submitted via the chat feature. The meeting usually lasts about an hour.
There are generally 150 or so people at each meeting.
